Let’s Explore: East Troy Community School District Referendum
Vote Yes, in partnership with VFET, will host weekly informational sessions each Tuesday in March from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the East Troy Community Center.
Areas of focus for the open-house style session will include:
- A look at why referendums exist in the first place and how communities use them
- Why the year 1993 matters in the story of our district’s funding
- A conversation about what this referendum means for our students’ success, what could happen if it doesn’t pass, and how it could shape our community
The primary objective is to meet attendees where they are by providing access to educational resources that will help them feel empowered when casting their ballot.
To maintain transparency, this event is hosted by a registered pro-referendum group. This event, however, is not designed to be a debate.
We hope you can join us with an open and curious mind.
